 At CC Brain & Body Wellness, we use professional-grade red and near-infrared (NIR) light panels designed for full-body or targeted sessions. These devices deliver specific wavelengths of light that reach both the surface of the skin and deeper tissues, where your cells can use that light as energy to support natural repair and recovery.  


Red and NIR light are absorbed by the mitochondria (the “powerhouses” of your cells), which can help support healthy ATP (cellular energy) production, circulation, and balanced inflammation—key foundations for how your body heals, moves, and feels day to day. 


Our panels use a multi-wavelength spectrum of red and near-infrared light to support both skin-level benefits and deeper tissue support in a single session. 


A blend of red and near-infrared wavelengths in ranges commonly studied for wellness, such as:


  • Red light (~630–660 nm) – interacts more with the surface and mid-layers of tissue, including skin and superficial muscles.
     
  • Near-infrared light (~810–850 nm) – penetrates deeper into muscles, joints, and connective tissues.

 We use RLT as a part of our RBFA Method:

  • Circulation & cellular repair – by supporting ATP production and microcirculation, red/NIR light can help your body do what it’s already designed to do: repair and restore.
     
  • General wellness, mood, and energy – many people report feeling more relaxed, balanced, and re-energized after consistent sessions.

What to Expect in a Session

  • Clothing: You’ll remove or adjust clothing in the area being treated so light can reach your skin. Most people wear comfortable shorts, sports bras, or similar. Bare skin in recommended.
     
  • Positioning: You’ll stand, sit, or lie comfortably in front of the panels while the lights run for a set time.
     
  • Sensation: You may feel gentle warmth, but the lights are non-invasive, low-heat, and do not burn the skin.
     
  • Time: Sessions typically last around 10–20 minutes per area, depending on your goals and how we’re combining it with other services.
     
  • Safety: Protective eyewear is available, and we review any light-sensitivity concerns with you beforehand.
